CUT FRESH OFF THE SPIT, ALL DAY
Halal beef and lamb doner, Turkish grills and meze. Sixteen years at the spit, three locations: Paterson, Edgewater and Richardson, Texas.
The doner is stacked by hand every morning, beef and lamb together, and shaved to order until close. Nothing comes off the spit before someone asks for it.
Every cut of meat in the house is 100% halal. Bread is baked in-house. Soups start at opening.
STRAIGHT OFF THE SPIT
THE DONER PLATE
Thin shavings of beef and lamb doner over lavash, with rice, fries, tomato and sumac onion. The plate most tables start with.
ISKENDER
Doner laid over cubes of pide, soaked with tomato sauce and hot butter, a scoop of yogurt on the side. Ask for the 1.5 portion if you are hungry.
GOBIT DONER
A domed sesame bread from our own oven, split and packed with hot doner. The sandwich Doner Point is known for. Add cheddar if you like it melted.
LAMB CHOPS
Chops on the bone, marinated overnight and grilled over charcoal, with rice, lavash and a charred tomato. On the grill at Edgewater and Richardson.
